I was standing in a house that I had lived in while I was growing up. My dad was working on something in the living room. I saw that he was using a microscope and other various scientific instruments. In front of me there was a table with some kind of green pancake on it ( I still don't actually know what it was ). There was a computer, keyboard, and a computer mouse on the table also. I used the mouse to raise or lower the strange pancake on the table. Somehow they were connected. I decided to go outside for a moment. I saw that the sun was rising. I tried to see where it was rising from, but when I looked around I began to see that there were suns rising everywhere! I stood and looked at the rising suns all around me.
Interpretation Dream 1
Symbols
house - a house or other structure similar to living quarters is representative of the state of mind. Since I was in an old childhood house, it represents that my mind was in an older state. As an example, if when I was a child I had formed a way of thinking like "any rainy day is a bad day." and perpetuated that belief (state of mind) then it would show up in a dream as living in an older home. Ergo, my childhood home represents that I was operating out of an older state of mind that previous day. This is not to say that its bad/good, or productive/unproductive. The state of the house in the dream will indicate those things.
microscope - its function is to inspect something close up.
dad - superconscious aspect, representing the aggressive and energizing aspects of superconscious mind.
computer - represents the physical storehouse we use for information, ie the physical brain.
pancake - food, which represents knowledge
sun - the sun gives off light, which represents awareness. Think about the phrase, "To shed light on something." Means to become aware of something. I love the little puns/metaphors our subconscious mind uses! :) Also, I'm not actually sure at the moment wether it means superconscious awareness, yet. I'll try to induce a lucid dream and ask my subconscious about it. I'll probably be talking to Anhka (subconscious aspect: yes that's her name, its not mispelled). Once I get the answer I'll post it up here.
table - represents stability.
Rough Meaning
I was most likely experimenting with some knowledge and trying to search my memory for an answer. I walked outside and changed my state of mind. ( I left the old way of thinking/state of mind). Once I changed my mind set, then I realized there was a greater awareness available to receive. So in short, I set aside my old state of mind in favor of a more expansive way of using my mind and became aware of a greater truth about what I was dealing with.
