I walked into Fugiyama (the restaurant) and went up to the bar. I didn't want to eat in the dinning room and just wanted a little salad (their thousand island dressing is the best tasting dressing I've ever had, no joke you should try it). However, the lady at the kiosk told me that they don't sell the salads separately and that I couldn't just eat at the bar. I had to either eat in the dinning room and have a full dinner, of have a drink at the bar and no salad. I was a little disappointed, but left the restaurant.
Interpretation Dream 1
Symbols
restaurant - place to eat. Eating represents assimilating knowledge. I didn't actually eat in this dream so that means that there were no understanding that were built the previous day.
bar - a place to serve alcohol. Alcohol, represents loss of will. Fortunately, I wasn't drinking any alcohol so I was not experiencing a loss of willpower the previous day! Hurray for me!
The reason there are only two symbols in this dream is beacuse those were the only two nouns that I saw in the dream. Everything else was only talked about. ie I never saw the dinning room, or the salad, of alcohol. So I was merely thinking about those things or holding those qualities in my conscious mind during the previous day.
Rough Meaning
I was looking for a way to assimilate knowledge, but the state of mind that I was in would not allow proper assimilation. Hence the lady telling me I couldn't have it my way. I left the place once I realized I wasn't a going to assimilate something properly. I was probably trying to make a leap without truly understanding. (It happens sometimes with me) I need to be patient with myself.
